This service enables users to pay for or renew their payment on their parking space from their smartphone or computer quickly and simply, without having to drop everything they’re doing.

“The P$ Mobile Service remote payment solution enables to increase motorist satisfaction through a modern, alternative payment option that blends perfectly with our users’ urban lifestyle,” said Charles Auger, General Manager of Stationnement de Montréal.

Using P$ Mobile Service is simple: the user must first create an account, then open a session and enter the appropriate parking space number and the desired parking period. The entire transaction takes but a few moments. Users will even have the option to be alerted about 15 minutes before their parking period expires, so that they may remotely renew it. A $0.40 service charge will be applied to each transaction to cover this new remote payment solution’s development and operational costs, as well as ensure the service’s maintenance and technological evolution. A video demonstrating how this solution works is available at: http://youtu.be/pjTs3iZ7OHI.

Stationnement de Montréal also benefits from the support of TC Media, a choice partner that manages the deployment of P$ Mobile Service. “Designing this new solution for Stationnement de Montréal was a stimulating challenge for our mobile application development teams, said Bruno Leclaire, Senior Vice-President, Digital Solutions at TC Media. We are proud to offer a custom solution to meet the needs of Montréal users and ensure its technological sustainability. Furthermore, this solution is driven exclusively by Québec-made technology.”

As such, TC Media’s mobile solutions team has developed an innovative solution for Stationnement de Montréal, thereby providing custom design and deployment to all major platforms.

“This initiative meets citizen needs. Indeed, they will now have the option to feed their meter remotely, thereby saving them time, simplifying their travel and enabling them to take full advantage of Montréal’s exceptional service offerings,” explains Mr. Michel Bissonnet, Member responsible for transportation of Executive Committee for the City of Montréal.

You can now bring the parking meter to your phone by downloading the P$ Mobile Service application, at no charge, at App Store, Android Apps by Google Play or BlackBerry App World™, or visit pservicemobile.ca for more information. Motorists can also download the application on their smartphones by scanning the QR code displayed on street-level parking meters.
