“Since Stationnement de Montréal’s founding in 1995, academic perseverance has been a cause we have held dear, said Charles Auger, General Manager of Stationnement de Montréal. Besides welcoming young interns every year within our team, Stationnement de Montréal invests in MR3Montréal Relève through a contribution of $600,000. We are proud to do our part in reducing school drop-pout rates and supporting students in their career choices.”

This year, Stationnement de Montréal is thrilled to count on the support of its partners, who enthusiastically champion academic perseverance. Six students will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of the careers that interest them within the following companies: TC Media, Communauto and 8D Technologies. Stationnement de Montréal, will be hosting two students with an interest in computer science and public relations.

“8D Technologies was thrilled to welcome two students last year as part of MR3 Montréal Relève’s Classes Affaires program, said Isabelle Bettez, President and CEO. We firmly believe that offering practical internships in a professional environment is an excellent way to enable high school students to explore various employment fields and help them focus their career choices by showcasing the many inherent opportunities. We are proud to participate in this program once again this year, as it allows us to reach out to the next generation.”

“At TC Media, our talented teams offer innovative digital marketing services, said Ghislain Dallaire, Senior Director, Mobile Operations at TC Media. “At Communauto, several activities await the student we will have the pleasure to host, said Ms. Jocelyne Savignac, Director, Human Resources. Throughout his week with us, he will have the opportunity to rub elbows with employees from several departments, including Material Resources, Customer Service and Administration. Our objective is to enable him to explore the various facets of our service, while discovering the career opportunities we offer.”

“This year, after registering and completing a training course given by our team in one of 21 participating high schools, 1,400 students aged 14 to 17 will have the opportunity to explore one of 19 sectors of activity offered by Classes Affaires, said Ms. Marie-Élaine Normandeau, General Mananger of MR3 Montréal Relève. Our objective is to help shape their professional horizon by pairing them with mentors. By welcoming them in their organization for a week of observation and practical experience, these mentors will enable teenagers to reflect upon their academic and career options. The Classes Affaires program could not be deployed so efficiently without the strategic and financial support of Stationnement de Montréal.”
