Montréal, November 17, 2021 – The Agence de mobilité durable (the “Agency”) will once again offer free overnight parking this year during the City’s snow-clearing period. These parking spots in 11 different parking lots will be free from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
“We continue to be involved with snow removal operations for the thirteenth year in a row. Stationnement de Montréal started this initiative to make parking easier for our residents throughout the snow-clearing period,” said Laurent Chevrot, General Manager of the Agency. “More than 1,188 spaces in a number of neighbourhoods will be made available.”
Montrealers will be able to park their vehicles for free in the designated parking lots as soon as the City of Montréal starts removing the snow. Residents must respect the designated parking areas and the permit-only areas. They must leave the parking spot before 7 a.m. the next morning to allow regular parking activities to resume.

Residents can view the City of Montréal’s snow-removal map to check the status of any snow removal operations. They can also use the INFO-Remorquage System to find a vehicle that was towed for not complying with no-parking rules.
