Montréal, Monday, December 12, 2016 – Stationnement de Montréal announces that it will participate in Ville de Montréal’s Operation snow removal for a 8th year by offering free overnight parking (9 p.m. to 7 a.m.) in 2,135 parking spaces in 21 designated parking lots during snow removal periods.

Montréal, December 5, 2016 – Stationnement de Montréal announced today the new P$ Mobile Service provider, namely Passport, Inc. (“Passport”).

Starting the week of November 21, 2016, Stationnement de Montréal will add on-street paid parking spaces in the Sud-Ouest borough.

With the objective of improving parking management, 146 paid parking spaces will be added on certain streets in the Peel-Wellington sector, mainly on Peel Street, between Notre-Dame West and Smith streets, as well as on Wellington Street, between Nazareth and Murray streets. Changes will also be made on Ann and Young streets.

Stationnement de Montréal is thrilled to launch its new website. Featuring modern visuals highlighting the organization’s products and services, the website was also completely revamped to makes things easier for visitors looking for specific information.

As part of InnoCité MTL, a business accelerator program, Stationnement de Montreal is proud to act as a mentor to CityParking, a startup that offers an application for citizens to rent their parking space when not used.

The management team of Société en commandite Stationnement de Montréal (the “Société”) has published its financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2015.

As part of its implementation of the City of Montréal’s Open Data Policy, Stationnement de Montréal confirm today its compliance by publishing its first data set on urban furniture location (pay stations, signage), regulations, parking rates, and paid periods for on-street parking. As a result, Stationnement de Montréal is the first organization within the City’s reporting entity to open its data to the public through its website and the City of Montréal’s open data portal.
