Design, innovation, technology
Since its creation in 1995, the Société en commandite Stationnement de Montréal has been a major player in the development of operational solutions for urban travel. Originally founded to ensure the optimal management of municipal paid on-street and off-street parking, the Société was quickly recognized for its innovation, its advantageous use of cutting-edge technologies and the harmonious integration of its installations into the urban landscape.
Its Pay and Go system won the prestigious Award of Merit from the International Parking Institute in the category: Innovation in a parking operation or program.
At the service of the Ville de Montréal and its residents
Every year, Stationnement de Montréal pays the Ville de Montréal a good part of the revenue it earns from operating public parking. In 2010, Stationnement de Montréal has remitted to the Ville de Montréal more than $41.4 million for the benefit of Montrealers. Stationnement de Montréal employs 85 people, including 74 employees of the Ville de Montréal.
The Société en commandite Stationnement de Montréal (Stationnement de Montréal) is a subsidiary of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montréal. By its very nature, Stationnement de Montréal has no board of directors. Accesum Inc., its general partner, acts on behalf of Stationnement de Montréal. The Board of Trade is the limited partner of Accesum.
