Stationnement de Montréal is responsible for the planning, collection, maintenance of equipment, administration, and customer service activities for on- and off-street parking belonging to the Ville de Montréal.



The Ville de Montréal and the boroughs are responsible for parking policies, rates, signage, new paid spaces installation and regulations.



The service de police de Montréal is responsible for parking surveillance and the issuing of parking tickets.

Stationnement de Montréal is responsible for operating paid parking, a network numbering:
  • parking lots containing 3,742 off-street spaces, divided between 36 different lots
  • some 16,800 on-street spaces in different boroughs of the city
  • 1,500 Pay and Go pay stations
  • totaling 1,500,000 transactions per month
