Stationnement de Montréal offers the possibility of reserving one or several parking spaces for special activities such as construction, the filming of a movie and so forth. To do so, you must have the appropriate permit.


Reservation of parking spaces in a parking lot

To reserve a parking space in one of our parking lots, you must obtain the necessary permit from our customer service department 48 working hours before the activity is held. Fees are established according to demand.

Send in a written request by fax to 514-868-3744 indicating:

• your coordinates
• the number of the parking lot (refer to the map)
• the number of spaces required
• the nature and duration of the activity.

Reserving on-street paid parking spaces

To reserve an on-street parking space you must request a public property occupation permit from the borough where the activity will take place. The cost of the applicable permit is determined according to the activity to be carried out on public property and includes compensation for loss of revenue.

When making a request for permit from the borough, you must indicate:

• the numbers of the parking spaces or parking meters involved, for example, parking meter UP036800004 or signs B155 and B156.
• if you wish to take advantage of related services offered by Stationnement de Montréal (covering of parking signs or parking meters, temporary removal of pay stations, parking signs or parking meters)

Covering parking meters or parking signs

This is a service offered to reserve parking spaces indicated on your public property occupation permit. The relevant signs or meters will be covered by our employees on the morning the permit takes effect.

You must display your permit within the vehicles occupying the space reserved by the covered parking meters or signs.

Cost: $50 (including taxes) for the first cover and $2 for each additional cover.


Temporary removal of parking meters, parking signs, or pay stations

The relevant parking signs, parking meters or pay station will be removed by our employees on the morning the permit takes effect.

Cost: 

• Parking meters or signs: $90 (including taxes) for the first pole, $60 (including taxes) for each additional pole.
• Pay stations: $250 (including taxes) per station.
